Hope your day's been good. I'm currently contemplating my dinner options (leftover shepard's pie..yum... or popcorn and a fruit smoothie... also yum ;) Service was nice, albeit hotter than usual. Did a little door to door then a couple studies.
One of them is with a deaf teenage girl who has been studying for a few years now (language barrier on top of other factors make that not unusual). She and her sister come to assemblies, conventions, and occasionally meetings. They've moved houses several times in the past couple months, so it's been interesting trying to find each new place (me to the bus driver, driving at the speed of light, "please stop at the next tree, no the street, no wait the shop or was it the school?...oops we just passed it.") Very exciting....
Anyway, went today after not having gone for a long while (I've had mono). She really enjoyed the series of pictures in the "Good News from God" brochure showing the resurrected naval officer learning the truth. Here's a pic. We're discussing the picture she drew on my ipad summarizing the lesson (see below). I'm sure I'll post more about them later.

Amber I love to see these kinds of pictures. So cool to see the people you study with. Glad there aren't any hairy looking spiders in this picture. I'm trying to reform opinions about the local bug population there. I'm even a chicken long distance. Lol. Hope the mono "bug" is totally gone from your system. Keep these post coming they are great!
ReplyDeleteI love her drawing on the iPad. What a great investment! ;)
